Biography

2014: Evansville's top finisher in each race for the second season in a row...battled injury all season, but managed to run in each race...ran a 27:04.40 to finish in 12th place at the EIU Open...lowest 8K time of the year was a 26:20.0 as he finished in 6th place at the UE Invitational...recorded a 26:54.7 in the Indiana Intercollegiate before finishing the MVC Championship in 26:29.25...wrapped up his career with a 33:52 10K showing at the NCAA District Championship.

2013: Led the Aces in every race of his junior season...posted two top five efforts, led by a second place at the UE Invitational where he ran a time of 25:39.09...came in third at the Fleet Foot Invitational (25:57.1)...his effort helped the Purple Aces take the team championship...finished in 9th out of 123 runners at the EIU Open (26:05.43)...ran a 25:45.11 to finish 12th out of 289 at the Greater Louisville Classic...tallied an 18th at the MVC Championships with a 25:13.5...named the Vectren Student-Athlete of the Week on Nov. 20.

2012:  Took the win at the UE Invitational along with four top ten finishes as a sophomore...set a PR in the 6K Mid-America Opener with an 18:46.75, which came in fifth...tallied a top ten the next week out as his 25:21.63 was good for 8th place at the EIU Open...came in an impressive 18th out of 220 runners in the Indiana Intercollegiate (25:28.80)...notched another impressive run at the Greater Louisville Classic, coming in 21st/362...recorded a second place at the Tennessee Tech Invitational behind teammate Cody Stein (26:36.82)...earned his first overall win at the UE Invitational with his time of 25:21.90...notched an 8K PR at the MVC Championship with his 12th-place time of 24:58...finished 65th/204 at the NCAA's with his time of 32:33.

2011:  Freshman ran in all eight events with top finish of eighth coming at the UE Invitational (25:51)...began season with a 12th place run in the 6-K Mid-America Opener (19:31)...placed 12th at the Saluki Invitational with a time of 27:00 helping UE take 2nd place...set PR with a 25:28 at Greater Louisville Classic, led UE with a 20th place out of 285 runners...notched a team-high 16th place at State Farm MVC Championships with a time of 25:51.

Background: Ran four years of track and cross country at Northeast Dubois HS...was a member of the 1st place Indiana All-Star Team...was an IATCCC All-State 1A-2A Runner of the Year as a junior...named an IATCCC All-State 1A-2A 1st Team runner in three of his varsity years in cross country...in track, he was named Blue Chip All-Conference all four years while earning numerous other honors in both sports...set the school record in the 3,200 meter at 9:19.26 while his top 5K time was a 15:26.4.

Why UE? I felt at home at UE and the university presented me with the opportunity to participate in Division I athletics as well as study engineering.
