Mobility Specific Movements: Straight Arm Dumbbell Scap Retractions

Instructions

Start by laying prone on a bench set at a 45 degree angle. Hold a dumbbell in each hand with arms fully extended and shoulders set down and back. Initiate movement by retracting the shoulder blades together while maintaining a straight arm and return back to original position. Common Error is flexing the elbows and not having the shoulders set down and back prior to starting the movement.
