Mobility Specific Movements: External Shoulder Rotation

Instructions

Set the shoulders back and down, keeping the elbow locked in one place at the side. Using an underhand grip on a small band, externally rotate the shoulder to 90 degrees activating the back (posterior) side of the shoulder. Common Error is letting the elbow flare away from the side and rotating past 90 degrees.
