Squat & Squat Variation: Stationary Dumbbell Lunge

Instructions

Start by holding a pair of dumbbells and keeping the shoulders set down and back.  Lunge forward with one leg, keeping an upright posture throughout; lower the back knee until it is slightly above the ground and until the front leg is parallel to the floor.  Press through the heel of the front leg back to the starting position.  Common Errors:  Putting all the weight on the toes of the front leg and not bending the back knee.
