Biography

2010 – Second team all-Missouri Valley Conference...member of the MVC Men's Soccer Scholar-Athlete First Team...recipient of UE Soccer's Ian Coull Award, for demonstrating competitive spirit, self-sacrifice and teamwork...outstanding marking back from his left outside position...took many of the corner kicks and direct kicks again as a junior...top returning scorer on the team after scoring one goal (Alabama A&M) and making a team-high eight assists for 10 points...tied for fourth on the team in scoring...ranked fourth in MVC in assists...had two assists against Washington and Central Arkansas...goes into his senior year with 17 assists, five shy of cracking UE's top 10 for career assists.

2009 – Ranked #3 in Missouri Valley Conference with 0.43 assists per game...led the Aces with nine assists, and was fifth overall in scoring with 13 points...first collegiate goal, at Bradley October 14, was the game-winner...made two assists in win over Stony Brook, and one assist in seven other matches...left-side defender who took left-footed corner kicks and most free kicks...helped UE hold the opposition to 25 goals, the second fewest since 1992.

2008 – Valuable player in the midfield as a freshman because of his skill at distributing the ball...played in all 18 matches, and was a starter in six mid-season games...took a total of five shots, with one shot on goal (vs. Central Arkansas Aug. 31).

High School/Club – Led Whitfield to the Missouri Class 1 state title in 2004, ‘06 and ‘07...first team all-state in 2005, ‘06 and ‘07...Class 1 Player of The Year...only the third small school player in Missouri history to make the All-Metro Team...attended the Adidas Elite Soccer Program (ESP) in 2007, and was chosen as an All-Star... member of the Metro United Soccer Club, which participates in the US Soccer Development Academy...club teammate of classmate Tad Kreamalmeyer...Aces Soccer Camp All-Star in 2007.

Personal – Jonathan Blake Schneider...born December 20, 1989 in St. Louis... son of John and Pam Schneider...has one younger sister, Meagan...majoring in sport management.
