Evansville (10-6-1, 2-3-0 MVC) managed just four shots on the night, as SIU Edwardsville (6-8-2, 2-3-0 MVC) outshot the Aces, 13-4, with eight of them coming in the second half.
"I don't think we deserved to win tonight, so it is what it is," head coach

SIUE not only held Evansville without a shot in the second stanza, it also kept the Aces from earning a corner kick, while the Cougars were to recorded five second-half corner kicks and 10 for the game.
