Ellerman, Wood Break 80 Again

ONEONTA, Ala. -- Maggie Wood shot 78 and Lauren Ellerman shot 79 today to lead the University of Evansville golf team through the final round of the Samford Invitational at Limestone Springs Golf Course. Jacksonville State defended its championship with a team score of 904 to win the 10-team tourney. Evansville finished ninth at 982.
Ellerman ended up 15th in the field of 55 golfers with a 54-hole score of 232. Wood was 25th at 236. Both broke 80 in all three rounds. South Alabama's Fanny Eineren earned medalist honors at 3-under-par 213.
