The University of Evansville Student-Athlete of the Week is soccer player Robby Lynch from Carmel, Indiana.  The junior midfielder and team captain scored one goal and assisted on another in Evansville's 3-1 win at Bradley, and helped his teammates from his center midfield position get off 18 shots in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Creighton.  

Lynch played almost every minute of both matches despite battling the flu all week.  The Aces won at Bradley for the first time since 1999, and Saturday's tie ended a six-match losing streak against Creighton.  UE is 9-4-1, and off to its best start since 1996.  

The Aces continue their homestand this week against the only two teams ahead of them in the Missouri Valley Conference standings--Missouri State on Wednesday and Drake on Friday. The match Friday will be televised nationally by the Fox Soccer Channel as the FSC Game of the Week.
