EVANSVILLE, Ind.--Today’s baseball game between the University of Evansville and Kentucky Wesleyan at Charles H. Braun Stadium has been cancelled due to heavy rain in the area. The game was a make-up for an earlier rain-out in February.
Friday’s game against Bradley has been pushed back to a 6 p.m. start time to allow time for the field to dry from this week’s rain.
Evansville will try to break its six-game losing streak as the Indiana Hoosiers come to town on Wednesday with weather permitting.
Evansville native and former North High School standout Andy Smith currently paces the UE attack with a .368 batting average, while sophomore Andy Pascoe has added a .302 average, four doubles, a home run, and a team-best 12 RBI.
