KINGSLEY, Mich. -- Sophomore Griffin Wood led the University of Evansville golf team with a 73 Sunday and a 10th place finish overall at the 2009 Spartan Classic at The Kingsley Club. Wood, from Boonville, shot 1-over-par 214 in the 54-hole tournament that wrapped up today. Eric Mina of California won the tourney at 10-under-par 203, leading Cal to the team title at 16-under par. Freshman Logan Osborne, an Evansville Central High School graduate, was second for the Aces and 42nd overall at 12-over-par 225.
